Access

We endeavour to make all of our events as accessible as possible. If you have any access or mobility requirements, or have difficulty standing for long periods of time, please contact Activate in advance so that we can advise you on access and make the best arrangements for your visit.

Detailed Access Guides and Information Sheets for our events are available below and will also be available at the Festival Information Points at each event. Each Access Guide contains information on terrain, distances and timings, along with details about relaxed performances and advice about sudden noise or lighting effects. This year we are also offering induction loop, audio description, touch tours and BSL at some events – for details please see the individual Access Guides and Information Sheets below. An information sheet and map guide is available for anyone who feels they may need more support in preparing for their visit to Wayfaring. There will also be a facilitated walk around the installation on Mon 19 Sept – please contact Activate for more details.

Accessible toilets are available at all event sites and a detailed map guide of Hengistbury Headlines will be available soon, and on site at the Festival Information Points. For an audio-described version of this brochure please contact us.

For more information, to request Guides or Information Sheets directly, or if you need information in an alternative format, please contact Activate, or call 01305 260954 (fax 01305 268752).
